pRomiSE yeT aGaIN When i hav to make promises to myself.. it always mean tat sth has gone wrong n i hav to do a lot to rectify the situation... which is why u dun see me making promises to myself about zui-ing girls or wat.. cuz ... i dun tink i hav a problem in tat hahahahaa.. cuz a bit too yandao... both outside n inside.. (i mean character.. not underneath my clothes or wat la.. u idiots.. haha)....

Ok.. so since i hav to make such a big big promise to myself.. u can see tat i hav a big problem lying down there in front of me.. a hurdle tall enuff to challenge the 170cm me... (i'm realli 170 la.. i'm not bluffing ok...)...

So first.. i muz say tat my promise is not abt sth i will do to make myself taller.. tatz.. impossible le.. i alreadi passed puberty... n too tall also obstacle.. wait too tall girls also dun like.. (hard to talk.. they muz look up to talk to u.. so mafan haha.. ).. so u can see tat my height is like perfect rite..haha

Since i dun tink i will be switching over to accounts as promised.. since i everyday kena kao peh for making stupid mistakes.. since i dun realli tink when doing my work.. since i always wayang everyday... i hav decided tat all these will hav to stop... With determination... i promise myself to take work mroe seriously... to tink before i do sth.... to work hard in my work...(dun expect OT though.. i'm not paid for it...).. so ... i'll start next week... they'll see a brand new chi ho... they're see the same yandao face wif a diff attitude... but... i still look forward to 6pm everyday la hahahha

Enuff of work haha.. this stupid ken... realli dumb... arranged to meet wif him/her for lunch on thurs.... at chinasquare... chi ho has to walk frm cheenatown to raffles lor... but since chi ho is commonly known as the man who moves at the speed of a bullet... chi ho managed to reach in abt 7 mins... n the stupid ken... keep on saying he/she reached le.. i reach there try to find him/her cannot find.. then after a while then see his idiot face...

Turned out.. he/she tot Golden Shoe was Chinasquare.. WAH LAU OI... realli dumb lor.. cannot even read sign.. cannot even noe where Chinasquare is when itz supposed to be at his/her workplace... kaoz... muz stop scolding Ken.. wait Kendrick not happy.. come beat me then jialat liao haha

  foLLowing wEEk 2nd week into PA...

One phenomenon i hav noticed frm the phenonema (chi ho wahhahaa) is tat... i always look forward to lunch breaks and the magical 6pm.. every workday...

I love my lunch breaks... not becuz i can look at pretty girls lar... plz.. itz cheenatown... 70% of the ppl there are aunties and ah mas... i love lunch break cuz i can openly slack... juz follow.. then order food.. makan makan.. then walk back... woah... veri nice feeling... and of cuz.. i'm much closer to the veri veri special 6pm...

I'd like to advise everyone not to stand in the path leading frm the office to the lift at 6pm.. wait u kena knock down by chi ho moving at the speed of a bullet not my fault ar haha

This week... i learnt sth veri xtra... haha.. i learnt the importance of wayang... how to wayang successfully to ensure tat i can leave at 6pm... haha... act veri inefficient... act veri stress.. then.. u can do work at a slower pace.. of cuz.. wayang also veri tiring one... but at least wun be psychoed by ppl la... at somemore.. my office all the guys treat me like number one enemy lidat (cuz too.. ahem.. u noe wat i wanna say one rite hahaha)... so... muz act like those big breast no brains girl... chi ho act like yandao.. i mean chi ho is yandao.. but act like no brains hahaha

Then from this week on.. every week got 2 days CO prac.. i love CO prac.. cuz can realli slack hahaha... n can relac... n can luff at ppl... haha... aft getting stressed at work.. itz good to blow my trumpet (both suona n boasting hahaha)...

Then today.. i pang seh Feijie for soccer... too bad lar... i reached bus stop 415 liaoz.. then i reach there i can onli play veri little time.. might as well dun go rite... (ok lar.. i'm lazy to go so far also la haha.. and i got other priorities...)...

  First day of PA

Alighting at Cheenatown and walking in Cheenatown makes me feel Cheena... This is not the PA tat i hav envisaged... i alwayz imagined my PA to be at Shenton Way.. in a tower... where my PA firm hav a few levels there...

Wish was gone instantly... when i blur-ly choose the wrong PA firm... when i failed my interview.. when i overconfident nv choose a BIG 4 firm....

It was onli the first day... n i get quite a bit of work to do... i wun mind if i actually knew wat n how to do the work.... the thing is tat i don't... U know watz statutory audit? No? No worries, i also dinnno... n i m supposed to be a Dean's List student...

Ok... so... if the objective of PA is to learn.. i did learn quite a lot... i learnt how to perform audit... in 4 days... i learnt how to handle stress... i learnt how to wayang a bit... i learnt how to force myself to put in OT w/o pay... i learnt how to time manage...

i also learnt the importance of good posture during office hours.. not tat i'm suffering frm some backache or wat... but... i juz got scolded by the partner on the FIRST day... for having a slack sitting posture.. ok lar.. i admit tat i was dozing off le... but i having fever n sore throat on tat day wat..

I also learnt the importance of forgetting how much u are paid when u r working on a job wif miserly pay... If i remember how much i m paid every minute.. i tink i will juz come at 4+ and leave at 6.. like the cleaning auntie in the company lidat.. i tink she mayb paid more than me somemore...

Curious abt my pay? i'll giv u 2 clues... $60000... and... place a decimal at the correct position...

  PA U know ur in trouble for ur PA when:

1. Get rejected after ur interview;
2. Blur blur chose the wrong company;
3. Nv choose Big 4....

and the consequences?

1. Stuck in some company in CheenaTown;
2. Survive w/o any training;
3. Overwhelmed wif work;
4. Full of stress;
5. Stress until feel like OT but found tat OT is w/o pay...

And tat will be me...

In the course of my week's experience in PA, i've observed the traits required to do well during PA:

1. Carry your trainers' balls;
2. If u're a guy, u betta hope tat u're not too yandao (unfortunately i am...);
3. If u're a girl, good for you...;
4. Learn to wayang... learn to look busy... when you're slacking...
5. If you're a yandao guy, u'd better start putting in some OT even if w/o pay;
6. Pray tat you get a humanely possible trainer, not some guy who enjoys psycho-ing u

Of cuz... since ur trainer will be giving u ur appraisal.. it will be utmost important tat u saikang and por2 ur colleagues whenever possible. Here i shall tell u wat u need to do frm my experience wif kok xin... the ultimate por2:

1. Always volunteer to rub ur superiors' backside;
2. For no good reason, praise them. Even if u tink ur trainer is fugly (pronounced as fa-glee), say tat he's veri fit... of cuz.. if u r a girl, u can juz say tat u tink he's hot... (i not responsible for wat he will try to do to u aft u do tat ok...);
3. Always ask questions... even when u know the answer... this onli applies to girls... not applicable to yandao kias like chi ho...;
4. Always act like the superior's ur idol... ur aim.. ur object of affection...

All in all... treat this like BMT (Basic Military Training...)... muz perserve for the 10 weeks... i hope i can get it reduced to eight weeks haha... i hope.. i wish... but whether it turns out to be 8 remains to be seen...

Final advice: sit properly.. if not.. will kena kp by ur partner or instructors....

  a few weeks later 29th March 2006

The day was big enough... big big day.. a day tat concerns 20% of my coursework in Biz Comm class... a day.. when chi ho will make his world-shaking... ground breaking speech... the day tat will demonstrate to SMU wat classy tok cock means... then suddenly... i received a call from my dear ICEE grp mate...

We shortlisted for ICEE presentation...

Wat the hell... same day as my biz comm presentation... jialat lor... muz prepare slides.. muz make a lot of changes to our mistake-full project (even we can find our own mistakes.. wat the hell are they thinking?)...

The preparation part was torturous enough... especially the ICEE project.. haha.. itz veri difficult one ok.. muz tink of reasons to cover for our veri veri veri obvious and veri veri wrong mistakes haha... but we got it through...

On the day itself...

I reach school... walk into the room where i am supposed to make my groundbreaking speech... suddenly my dear justin started to luff at me...

Luff for wat... i say.. n he point at my lower body (my shoes lar... wat u tinking...)... oh my god... i m wearing formal... without black leather shoes... i wore sports shoes!!!! OH MY GOD... wat happened to the normally impeccable chi ho? No wonder on the way.. so mani ppl look at me... i tot i too yandao esp when i wearing formal... No wonder the cleaning auntie giv me mischievous look juz now...

Nvm... i force justin to borrow me his black shoes... then.. when itz my turn to make my brilliant presentation... OH MY GOD... my powerpoint file failed to work...CANNOT open!!!! The ang moh tutor a bit buay song liao.... Y u nv back up???? hmm... Cuz... i believe in technology? My thumb drive to be exact... Then.. i had to giv my presentation without visual aids...

Sibey sian... tatz like how mani percent gone liao.. n chi ho's mood affected lor... gone were the Jose Mourinho like arrogance... the style of Arsene Wenger... I hope the tutor giv me some visual marks lar... chi ho's face deserve full marks for visual lor hahaha

Haiz.. tatz not all lor... when i was making my way to Suntec.. where my ICEE presentation was held... it rained.. din tell anyone.. but i got drenched lor... n my blazer dropped on the dirty dirty bus floor... kaoz....

Reach there le... nearly fall on escalator... my teamates yi4 ge4 liang3 ge4 all stand behind n luff at their poor leader... say i absorb all the bad luck le... argh..haha

Presentation was ok... at least our file worked.... then... during Q n A... wow.. i enjoyed it haha... veri exciting man... exciting cuz.. i anticipate them to catch our obvious mistakes.. which they din...haha... but they caught my other mistakes lar... n more serious mistakes... haha.. but it was nice... a nice experience...

After tat... we got SECOND!!! Haha... delighted lor.. like Liverpool get second lidat.. (they get second they delighted and happi le...)... but i open the prize n... diaoz... If i hav to use a word to describe.. it'll be parsimonous...

NVm.. at least got prize... n itz a good good experience... woo hoo....
